I have been in my new home for just over one year now. I have nail pops in some of my walls. I was told by my builder that these are signs of the house settling.
What else should I expect to see as the house settles?
What are normal signs of a house settling?
Thanx in advance.

where are you? What kind of soil conditions do you have? Were the materials wet or dry when used? Well you get the idea. In general a house should not "settle" very much at all unless it is log. Certainly it shouldn't settle so much that doors start binding, etc. Believe me if the house settles too much the cracks, out of level floors, etc will let you know.
*I am in the process of purchasing a lot surrounded by 3 other homes. What process do I have to go through to have a home built and how do I find a good custom home builder?
*Dustin, nail pops occur as the wood studs begin to dry-out, decreasing their dimension. Unfortunately, this is a very common occurence. This is why I always use drywall screws in lieu of nails.
