I have a sliding glass door at my cabin. It appears to be well made and shows little wear except the latch/lock. The catch that swings up to lock the door used to almost snap into place, now it appears worn to the point that if someone just shook the door, the latch might disengage. There is another lock on the door bottom that is still in excellent shape and we use that lock when we leave the cabin for home.
I want to replace the latch and need recommendations. This lock is attached on the inside stile that meets the door jamb. It is not mortised into the stile.
Can anyone recommend a new latch/lock?
Thanks
Ed
