I was wondering if anyone has one of these yet. I’ve been looking at the LS1O103 (10″) saw. and this newer, smaller (7 1/2″) model with the quad rods looks good. Any and all comments please.

Unfortunately they aren't in stock, they're expected sometime in March. I bought through the "Tool Barn".
How do you like it? I'm thinking of getting it to augment my LS1220.

Just got it Thursday, been too busy to use it. Will let you know. One thing for sure it's lightweight. Called Makita and the engineers from Makita forgot to design crown moulding stops for it ???????
Started cutting crown moulding for my bath yesterday. Saw works great, like a hot knife thru butter. The blade, for a 40T, makes a very clean cut. Thinkin' about putting one of those "LaserKerfs" on it. Any opinions on those out there?
I looked at one of these in the tool store just the other day.
I didn't look very carefully, but it appears it is designed to bevel one way only. The 1013 goes both ways.
