New makita tools

New tools for the 18 volt Ion system… on makita.com
cordless grinder
bandsaw
concrete vibrator
new ones released later this year….
after using the makita lxt i really think dewalt 18v dont compare

plus new cordless nail gun! (i have the dewalt one.. .kinda heavy)

        What the heck is that?  A drill without a Jacobs chuck, or an impact driver with a clutch like a drill?  And it has a 14.4v Li Ion battery, I though they were only sending 18v tools to USA.  I've got to brush up on my Japanese.

        Speaking of, what's with the Japanese web site links now?  There's no Makita America to peruse for the same stuff?  How do we know what they have in Japan will be headed across the Pacific?

        Ok, I'll just buy it and shut up about it.

          I'm glad they're making a radio. I see theat they also have the battery two pack now for $159.00. Not a bad price considering what you get.

    If you have google toolbar, and have Page Info turned on, it will allow you to translate into (broken) asianized english.

        Looks sweet.  From what I gathered, it's a 2 speed, drill, hammer drill, impact driver with lithium ion capacity.
