good day all

i’m adding a porch to the rear of my house and have a couple of questions regarding loads and spans.

the porch will be 12 x 19 ‘.  attached to the house and resting on three piers on the outter edge.

for the piers i was thinking of using 6×6 western red  columns on 14″ diameter piers. based on my calculations the max load would be 2250 psf on each post.

the header would be 3 – 2x 10’s  max span would be 7.5 feet , the load per foot comes out to 380 #

and i was planning to use 2x 8’s rafters and joists 24″oc with 5/8″ osb 

headers, rafters and joists will be southern yellow pine

any directions to simple span and load tables would be appreaciated

any comments are also appreciated
