I’ve been landscaping my yard and have been routing downspouts to pipes and then gravel filed pits.

This one had less room and I’ve run out of free gravel.

I thought some of you would like to see it.

 I used cinder blocks this time. Using the blocks there is more area for the water and it went well.

The area where this pit is located is lower that the house by a bit so if it gets overloaded it will just pond there. But almost all the time it will work without anyone noticing.
