Well, I have dug down about a foot past the footing, and there is no exterior footing tile drain (we have an interior perimeter drain). Overnight, the bottom of the hole filled with water, which leads me to believe that I am at the water table. Am I safe filling this hole with crushed stone and running a drain pipe to this level?
