The walls in my house are not insulated and I was wondering if spraying insulation through the drywall/stucco will make a noticeable difference on my heating/cooling bill? The house is 1200 sq.ft and has new double pane windows. Anyone have any comments, suggestions…what to look for? Thank you.

Sheetrock is a lot easier to drill holes in and patch than stucco, so you should make holes on the interior side of the wall. Lowes or Home Depot will give you the loan of the hopper/blower to pack the cellulose in your walls if you buy a minimum number of bales of cellulose. You can use the same blower to spray cellulose in your attic, called "loose fill'. You'll notice a change in your bills, as well as your comfort level in the house.
Do some googling on "dense pack cellulose" for more information. Here's a start:http://www.umass.edu/bmatwt/publications/articles/cellulose_insulation.html
Another option is slow-rise foam injected into the wall. Much more expensive than cellulose. Only problem I have is that I can't find a contractor willing to do foam in an existing wall.
