does anyone wear the old wedge soled moc toe boots and have any feed bakc on brands and sole lifespan i used to wear the diehards from sears and only got abot six mounths out of them before resoling. now i am looking at the thourogh goods or georgia modelsand would apreciate any feed back

I cant believe the diehards can be beat on the sole alone. The leather and heal counter wears out on me first.
Red Wing salesman told me last year that he could not compete with the longevity of the diehard sole in that particular style, but that Red wing was coming out with a new sole similar to the diehard.
I just decided to stick with the diehards, buy one pair second half price, 135 total, should last me two years. Old pair get put on the shelf and used only for roofing or changing the oil.
Diehards. When I worked at the dairy, a pair would last me about 5 months. The cow shi* ate away at the thread that held the soles on.Trivia, just for you.Greg
