*I found an interesting site - http://www.toolseeker.com - you pick the type tool you are looking for - saw recip saws - and it lists who has the best prices on the net. It works well and can direct you to various tool dealers on the net.

*http://www.TheMakitaStore.comI ordered a couple of stick batteries from them about 11AM today via their online order system. I just now, 12:20PM got a shipping confirmation with a UPS tracking number. $29.95 each for the batteries, tell me they aren't cheaper somewhere else? Joe H
*I found the best selection (and price) is at http://www.tools-plus.com
*Try Harborfreight.com. They have all kinds of stuff, good quality, cheap. I've dealt with them for years. They are very reliable. For power tools they have mostly the basics; their brand name tools can be, but are not necessarily, the cheapest, although their house brand, Chicago, is very low cost. I bought a second 4 1/2" grinder to go with my Bosch 1348E, and though it lacks the latter's soft start feature it seems to work fine and is sells for $20 or $30 depending on whether it's on sale or not. The Bosch cost me about $110 some years ago.The main major brand they sell is DeWalt, and they sell both new and factory refurbished models. They have all kinds of hand tools, and a lot of quirky stuff. Most stuff is imported, especially from China. I've never had any trouble with quality, and they guarantee their stuff. Even if you don't buy anything, their printed catalogs are a trip.
*How about online sources for nails for air nailers?I have trouble getting hot dipped galvanized nails locally.TIA
