Was catching up on my back reading and saw a Dec. 8th (I think) article in the business section that said that OSB prices had dropped 23% from their high. I assume this was wholesale. Has OSB dropped in price at retail? How about plywood?

1/2" CDX was down a buck+ a week or so ago. Didn't notice OSB though.

homebuilding slows down in the winter months in many parts of the country, relaxing the prices on building materials. It's a pretty normal cycle.
7/16 OSB peaked here at around $16.50 a sheet several months back. Right now it is about $14.50. About a year ago it was $9.Matt
Still up around $17 here. Last year it was as low as $4.75. Nice profit margin for somebody.
does anyone know if the tariffs attached to Canadian softwood forest products applied to OSB?
Iasked at the lumberyard yesterday. They said it had gone from a high of $18 down to $16.
It should drop off more after the first of the year.I live in my own little world, but that's okay. Everybody knows me here.
