I realize this is pretty much off topic, but allow me to ask:
While in the states recently for my daughter’s college graduation and mother’s memorial, we went by HD and picked up a Moen hand-held shower head with hose. It works fine for the cheap price, but with one caveat: the hose-to-head connection is fixed and doesn’t rotate, and since the hose is made of some kind of plastic, it’s stiff and difficult to handle. What I’m looking for is a connector/union/joint with male and female threads that rotates freely. I actually found one on the net, but in Britain:

the item is on the bottom right side, model number DLTDCC250, with the name “Anti twist shower head swivel union”.
Do any of you fine people know where I could get something like this in the US?
TIA!

Here's a shot-in-the-dark internet search result that may or

Wow
That's exactly what I need. Thanks.
(I spent a good time searching on my end, but apparently wasn't selecting the right keywords.)

Likely the term "union" was throwing off your searches. In the US a plumbing union is a specific device for joining two pipes without the need to twist them. (And, of course, a plumber's union is something else entiely.) So "swivel adapter" is the term.
You're welcome.
Happy to help.

I ordered the Grohe shower swivel adapter from Amazon; it arrived the other day; installation five minutes (teflon tape), rotating joint was a bit stiff so I sprayed in a bit of WD-40; works fine. Price was a bit high ($34 includ postage to Japan), but couldn't find a local equivalent, and since it's stainless steel, I should be able to remove and reuse if I change the shower head/hose.
Thanx again.
