I just finished the second coat of paint in our bathroom. I used a new roller and didnt have all the fuzzies from the roller the first coat. The second coat a day later left fuzzies all over the walls. Is it me or are the rollers we spend 3 to 5 dollars every time are worth less. I know I can sand them down after, but to spend the time and money when you try to do a good job I just dont get it. Any help out there?

even premium rollers need to be washed before use
plus if you wash a roller and spin to out before use cleanup will be easier, paint doesn't migrate to the core
I haven't tried washing and spinning but it sounds like an effective solution. Perhaps more effective than what I do, pat the roller with duct tape.
A shorter nap helps, too. For paints with a slight gloss, I use a 1/4" high quality roller, like a Purdy.
It also helps to bevel the nap on the ends of the roller, before you wet it. Minimizes 'railroad tracks'.
