A buddy wants to repaint his house – they don’t like yellow. Currently, the siding is either aluminum or vinyl. Off the top of my head, I’m guessing aluminum.

with proper prep and 100% acrylic.
also watch using darker colors, although SW claims to have a "color safe technology" for darker colors available, i believe, in their duration & superpaint. I haven't tried them yet or know anyone who has.

Both aluminum and vinyl siding can be painted. Talk to your paint supplier about the proper product for it.
But, why? Weren't those materials both supposed to end painting?

Headstong, I'll take on anyone!
