I saw a technique on one of the forums, not sure which, that described a process using epoxy paint. Just keep in mind that you will then have a painted surface - more likely to chip and not nearly as durable as the original laminate. Also, I have no idea whether this is a safe surface to prepare food on.
*There is a paint on the market called "Melamine" by Kryanize. It is made specifically for this application.Been there, done that, didn't last more than a month or so. Won't EVER do it again.Cheapest way to change the color, and keep durability is to glue new laminate over the old. Not dirt cheap, but cheap.Just a thought...James DuHamel
*James is sure right. With the low cost of plam, there's no reason to go any other route.Just remember that your new plam will adhere to the old only if you follow the correct procedures, and most importantly the old plam must be in good shape and still be stuck down well to its substrate.
