20 yr old bathroom paint. Smoker. Hiring painter. Painter wants to sand down to drywall. Will use 2 coats latex over one coat primer. Will this work the best?

I agree with IMERZ--sanding down to drywall would be difficult and messy and would fuzz up the drywall paper which would make a messy looking job when you painted it.
