Guys, there must be a better way to paint these muntins two colors. Inside to match the interior trim, outside to match the Marvin pebble grey color, what a PITA. Help please.

Better than what?
On true divided light panes, the muntins are usually big enough that I just use a brush carefully. On the newer, small muntins found on many double/triple glazed windows (I'm not familiar with Marvin in particular), I mask the glass with masking paper. It's similar to masking tape, but sticks better to glass.
And I keep a razor scraper handy since there's the inevitable bleed.
Don, these are the clip-in interior muntins. It's just a PITA to cut the two different colors with a brush.

Oh, now I get it.
But now I don't have anything valuable to contribute.
Hey Don I just bid a job in your neighborhood. Tiny commercial space renovation. You keeping busy? Seems like all the big jobs have dried up, only small stuff available now.
Rich
I've been busy so far and I have work for the next few weeks, but that's it. I'm a little concerned because the calls come in much more slowly around the holidays. This time last year, I had work lined up into the new year.
Good luck with the bid.
can't remember the shape of the Marvin muntins, are they diamond shaped
Generally when I'm doing 2 tone muntins spray is the fastest way. preferably airless, if you spray straight down it cuts a clean edge.
if they are diamonds it's easy, if they are square edged do back first, let dry, turn over laying flat on floor and spray front
Barry, yeah these are the ( somewhat ) diamond shape, spray cuts cleanat that edge? I'll have to try that. Thanks for the input.
Rich
You'll want to lay them flat not lean them against a wallI usually lay them out on some builders paper or cardboard

I have been trying for two years to paint the interior muntins for my Jeldwin windows. I am staining the inside, then a coat of poly, and priming and painting the flat outside part. And I hate painting, so its been hard to get it done. I have heard of using a roller with 1/4" nap to paint the flat side quickly, but that didn't work for me.
Yeah, cut n wipe for me. I'm not a fan of painting either.
