We have 70’s paneling in the front of our home. 3/4″ plywood, 1/4″ deep X 3/8″ wide grooves staggered every 5-7″, raised grain, knotholes — the works. My wife wants to either (a) rip it out and drywall (b) skim coat everything and paint it, or (c) try to fill in the grooves and knotholes, then cover it up with a heavy wallcovering and paint it.
Just priming and painting it would be time consuming — this is looking like a second job. Does anybody have ANY suggestions on the shortest route.
Thanks in advance…..
