Any experience with the Panasonic 15.6 1/2″ drill (EY6431NQKW)? You never see this drill at Homer’s and I never see it on the job, so was wondering about its performance. Also, what’s the early word on the new NI-MH batts? I hear they outperform Ni-CAD in terms of power, but retire earlier eg replace! My old Bosch keeps on ticking but its heart is weak.

buy another Bosch, they've treated me well and will continue to buy them.
*I have been using the Panasonic (NiCD) for three years now, It is very durable and has plenty of power for 4" screws, etc.It is also very durable - having survived falls off of ladders and roofs.Replacement parts are reasonable too.I'm sorry that you use Homer as a reference.Woodworkers warehouse is stocking them now.Our union electricians have been using Panasonic up here (Rochester, NY) for 6 years.-Rob
*Very happy with my 2 15.6 V Panasonic 1/2" drive drills. Archives should have comments from similar threads. No dead batteries yet 1.5 years after initial purchase. Three or four Makita 9.6s languish now that the Panasonics are here.Sure wish those Panasonic morons knew which side of the saw to put a blade on.joe d
*Just today I was using my Panasonic 15.6 circular saw and thinking how blessed I was to find this little saw with the blade on the correct side.
