they are great!!!!
i recommend all of them.
the new 12v impact driver looks lovely. i would get one but i’ve got 2 of the 15.6v multidrills already.
oh and a 15.6v drill/driver and a 24v sds drill.
panasonic drills are the only ones i’ve had that last more than 12 months(with me at least)
i think they did a test in FHB and the 15.6v panasonic beat all the other 18v drills

Panasonic is some prime stuff..
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming
WOW!!! What a Ride!
#1) No they are not good... They are great!!!
#2) The 15.6 Volt is as powerful as any other 18v models. The multi driver is a great unit but pairing it with a driver drill would be an awesome combo.
I just wish they would have made a sawzall in 15.6v
The 18 volt models must be incredible!! but heavy.
Mr T
I can't afford to be affordable anymore
Seen a recent ad for an 18v Panasonic recip saw.
I never met a tool I didn't like!
hey kos.how goes it bloke?
Yep...I agree.I bought a Panasonic several years ago when they first came out...Totally awesome drill with power to spare!
Be well

technically it should be called charging down a hill covered with upside down broomheads boarding!!!!!!!there's a dry ski slope in the town where i live.its on a big hill and the long slope is 1000ft long.although i haven't got the bottle up to do the big one yet.
and you just imagine the snow , huh ?Mike Smith Rhode Island : Design / Build / Repair / Restore
I have two Japanese cars, a Japanese mower, two Japanese drills, and I recently installed a Panasonic bathroom fan in my daughter's house. It's so quiet that I'm not always sure it's running. I put a Fantech in my own bathroom some years ago, but won't do it again, as quiet as the Panasonic is. Even some Milwaukee products are Japanese. Hard to argue with it.
bar.. i have the Pan. 15.6 impact, the 15.6 drill, and the 15.6 saw...
i've also installed the panasonic bath fans.. great...
for battery tools, looks like only bosch is giving them a run for the moneyMike Smith Rhode Island : Design / Build / Repair / Restore

Are you in UK? They were supposed to build an indoor one in Las Vegas with real snow like the one in Japan.
yeap i'm in buckinghamshire
there are 2 indoor ones with snow within an hours drive of me.
i going to get better before i visit those
Panasonic makes an a-concentric cordless drill; drills in tight spots that is superb.
I agree with the others. I have owned Panasonic drills for maybe 10 years or so, and have never had even a minor complaint.
Around here they are considered the Mercedes of cordless drills. I have drills both in the 12v and 15.6v series, and I would vote for the latter. Slightly heavier, but way more powerful.

Nikki, I won't compare them to MB. Ask any MB owner and he/she will tell you they are nothing but problems. Try Lexus.
I ve been using the 15.6V for a couple years. Before that had PC, and DeWalt. There is no comparison. Panasonic is the best. The only complaint I have is that you have to remove the battery to get at the clip that holds the extra bits. Which I don't use, I just keep them in my pocket. Some brand have it outside on the housing. The Panasonic impact is another powerhouse which is great for driving Tapcons.
As everyone else has stated - Panasonic Good
have the 12 volt impact driver and four of the 12 volt drills - all good
Batterys are the best in the biz, hands down! Tell your boss to start reading some trade mags that do tool reviews. Oh, when you get the Panasonic have your boss grab onto the chuck while it's spinning at the lowest speed you can make it run and see if he can stop it. He won't be able to make it stop.
Sunny,
Panasonic = The class act in battery drills. I have the saw and three of the 15.6 drills, which are for me the best balance of size, weight, and power. The 12 volts are nice in a shop, but the 15.6 rules the site. The 18 volt drill leaves me cold. It is too big, heavy, ugly, and badly balanced, reminiscent of the first generation 15.6 before they got the design completely together. However, it probably works flawlessly like the others
The saw is nice, but you pay dearly for the blades, because they are a nonstandard arbor hole size. I have the metal cutter, and when I need it, it is amazing. Mostly I don't need it. 20 posts and not a bad word about Panasonic drills. Print out the thread and show it to the boss.

"20 posts and not a bad word about Panasonic drills."
I'd almost be willing to bet that there is not a single post in all of Breaktime that claims experience with Panasonic tools and doesn't praise them.
There have been several threads on the subject of cordless drills, Panasonic is ALWAYS the concensus choice.

Another day, another tool.
You know what's funny? I think I may have the only Panasonic Multi-driver in Abilene, Texas. The contractors I've had around the house just look down their nose at it as they pull their Dewalt cases out of the truck. I've noticed I'm charging it more frequently since they've borrowed it a couple of times to save a run to their trucks for the "real tools." Ha! They are saving them selves a run to the truck pretty much all the time now.
