Need some assistance in the paneling department. I want to put up some beadboard in my house and was wondering what is the proper way to put it up?
I have been told at Home Depot to use Power Grab by Loctite. This way I dont need any nails. Has anyone used this product or know of something better to put up the beadboard and moldings?
Thanks

any brand construction adhesive will work. I like PL 400 over liquid nails. I find liquid nails too runny.
I also use nails in places where the chairrail and baseboard will eventually cover. getting the seams tight and even might mean using face nails or you could cut a spreader and brace from an adjacent wall overnight while the glue dries.
pl 400 or PL premium, both should be available at HD.
You'll still need a few nails to hold it while it sets up
Be careful taking advice from HD, not that it was bad in this case, though I've heard my fair share of bad advice doled out by their associates
