Anybody familiar with panelizing?
I am waiting to get a quote back for the 4 wall sections that will make up a simple 22 x 28 2-car garage/storage building.
We intend to build it on a thickened-edge reinforced concrete slab.
Our initial intent was to stickframe it, but our supplier wants us to try out something from his Quebec supplier of panels, so we are willing, maybe, depending on how the dollars shake out.
If sticking it, we would first build a base perimeter of 2×4 PT, bolted down using the anchors, shimmed as required to get things level, then build and stand wallframes atop the PT.
In presheathing and papering walls while lying down flat, we would overhang the sheathing 2″ to lap past the mudsill, and be able to nail to it.
I am wondering if you have seen the panelizing plants do that little 2″ overhang?

the panelize company near here does the overlap. It is required in engineering for tie down . All sheeting must extend to the bottom plate. and they lap it 1/2 pawt that
