Hello,
I have 5 old pantry door down in a semi-basement (one side in the masonary block the opposite site of the room has large picture windows). The’ve been there since we moved in and although the cabinet boards are in good shape the doors very warpped/cupped etc…I want to build doors that will fit and not warp etc.. The dimensions are 96″x20″ and right now they are tongue/grooved the length. What would be the best type of lumber and plans to complete this project. I am thinking of dividing the doors into two so that each door would be 48″x20″ as to reduce the chance of warp. The walls are painted white and so this final door will be painted to help reduce the movement? I would greatly appreciate hearing from the experts on materials and just basic plans! Thanks Cola

Keeping HVAC systems within the conditioned enclosure can be tough without a basement; one option is to use plenum trusses for the roof, which offer a space for equipment and ductwork.
