I have two jobs in the near future involved with basements that have had mold problems, it has been suggested that we use paperless drywall. This is new to my local lumberyard , through google I found it made by Georgian Pacific.
Has any one used it and how much does it cost? I will phone Georgian Pacific to-day to find a supplier in town(Toronto Canada)

A mold resistant drywall is available. It is heavier has a different finish (in place of the paper) but tapes and finishes just as ordinary drywall. I purchased mine at Menards.
I've seen paperless drywall at the big boxes, but I have never used it. If I remember correctly, it was more expensive. If the basement has a significant moisture problem (have you tested for it, or is there evidence?), I would attempt to get the homeowner to resolve that issue first.
and the stuff smells like it's rotten.
