the banks and sellers are there to profit.... they are not community service non profits...

YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T
MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE
DUCT TAPE.
show last week about moving from New orleans to mobile, family was downsizing to a 4500 sq foot house. It sold for 360k. In mobile that is a Mcmansion, thats the top 5%. The house that 95 % of Mobolians live in runs around 125k. So yes its a show for the real estate to raise rate. I think it and does about flipping is wwhat goes the problem with the real estate market. If they can do it so can we. and end up overhead.
I saw that one. DW and I want to downsize from something that looks a little pale compared to what they downsized to.
I really think the US population has gotta get away from this "mine is bigger" mindset. My neighbor who is a conservative, religious, retired man and very nice guy said to me; "Don't you want your children to do better than you? That is the basis of the American way of life. Every generation has the ability to raise their living standard." My answer: "well yea, but at some point you do have enough."
BTW - in the mean time, I'll just keep building the houses people will buy - rather than what I think they should have.
