Any recos for a good supplier of pine flooring in the SE MA areas or the Cape? I need some T/G or shiplap pine flooring, paint grade, about 8-10″ wide for kitchen floor remodel? Pircies I have found are about $1.00 B/F. Also suggestions for rough sawn lumber to make a shipping crate?

Well, that is probably the worst choice of flooring for the Cape. Wide boards swell from humidity more than narrow. White pine won't take kitchen wear and water well, and you DEFINITELY don't want shiplap.
you are hearing prices for S4S pine #2 I would suppose. Flooring is another animal. reliefs on the back side and the T&G adds milling cost, and you want no loose knots of any kind.
If you are set on pine, I would look for SYP, and use it in the 4" size. SYP is common in use on the coast up here, will take a stain, and wears better than white pine. It'll run closer to t $2.50.

I think my salesman's name was Tim but I wouldn't swear to it.
Just give them my name (andy clifford) and ask them to look up who sold the flooring to me.
He was "extremely" helpful. Tell him I sent you. HE'll remember me. I did my entire house using them cept for the living room.
Their prices couldn't be beat and the quality was great.
I used several different companies and they were hands down the best!
BE well
