While the dishwasher is running, I occasionally get severe rattling of the water pipes. If I turn on the hot water at the sink next to the dishwasher ever so slightly, the rattling stops. the House water pressure is about 60 psi. It seems to have gotten worse over the last year or so. Any ideas on how I can fix the rattling problem?
Thanks!!!

water seleniod on the DW is pulsating open to slightly open or rapid on and off...
screen in the DW water inlet is pligged...
supply line has a crimp in it...
supply line is too small...
The DW is starving fer water..
the water in the main feed / supply is being pulsed..

I would agree with IMERG. Since it's getting worse I would think a bad DW solenoid or a supply screen getting more clogged over time. Do you have a water softner? Could be calcium build up.
Not sure but isn't 60 psi a tad high?
60 isn't high...

I'm with IMERC,too.
Sounds like pulsating water hammer that's being relieved when you open that other faucet.
Install a hammer arrester on the HW pipe under the sink.
why not fix the problem 1st or is the HA in addition to????

Well, the hammer arrester is quick, easy, and will almost certainly fix the problem. Otherwise you're playing Easter egg hunt.
ya but there is a deeper under lying problem that needs to be addressed...

That's like fixing the rattle in my truck engine by turning up the radio.
