Greetings all, I have a few bags of Diamond coat thinco plaster left over and would like to use them in my new studio. unfortunately it has regular drywall, not blueboard. It’s not mudded yet. Does anyone know an effective treatment to make the grey stuff hold the plaster, like a siezing or sealer? Also what is a good source for tinting for the plaster? thanks John

"PLASTERWELD" it comes in gallons and is pink. You just roll it on and the plaster sticks.
it sure does!

That's one brand. There are lots of those PVA bonding agents. Any masonry & plaster supply house will have some.

Plasterweld yes. Follow the instructions. Universal tints from a good paint store, mix them up in the water you mix the plaster with. Make sure the volumes are always the same each mix to the last drop. Test first and use ratios You don't wanna paint?. It's a hell of alot easier if you haven't done this type of thing before. Have at it, whatever. Good luck.
