I ran two of them for much of a summer. The one with the Honda OHV engine ran well and lasted. The one with the other, I hear any other, brand of engine gave us no end of problems and seized up in the end.
Have a Stowe with Honda 10 yrs. old never had a problem ever. Apparently it will compact up to a 16" lift but I have never trusted that amount usually keep at about at 6" max.
I also have a Stowe with a Honda motor. 11 yrs. old, still starts on the first pull. Very low maintainance.

I ran a rented Wacker diesel plate packer for most of last summer. It held up really well, getting no maintenance other than shaking out the air filter once in a while. I was at the local United Renatal place and I seem to remember the new Dynapac diesels looking really sweet.
