What to do. I am remodelling the bathroom. Installed new water temp regulators, shut off valves shower heads and tub filler. When I initially pressurized the system there were very small leaks at about three of the male to female threaded connections. Very small leaks. Enough to be able to see some water well up around the connection. But not enough to make a collection in a container to catch any drops. My intent was to cut out the offending thermostatic valves and diverters and rewrap the male connections with teflon a retighten fittings. This was six weeks ago. The system has been pressurised all this time. I went to reidentify the leaks this weekend…but they are no longer present. I am using 1/2″ copper.
What to do?
Will.

I'm not a plumber, but if you want a stronger connection for peace of mind, cut or burn off any excess teflon tape at the joint, and solder all connections.
