I'm surprised none of the plumber types responded to this one yet, so I'll offer this: 1/4" per foot is pretty standard. Lower than that and "stuff' won't flow, steeper and "stuff' gets let high and dry. You might get by with slightly different pitches with nice, smooth plastic pipe, but folks take DWV codes pretty seriously, so you best be careful. I hope this helps.

you are correct. it is 1/4" per foot with a few exceptions for large sewer pipe outside. but building drains are always 1/4" per foot
