So I may just re-do the whole layout on this bathroom DWV setup where my flange is a out of alignment, and was wondering about my options. I’ve attached two sketches.
Option a shows routing the shower drain and the lav drain to come in upstream of the toilet for maximum scouring.
Option be is a little cleaner and less roundabout, but only the lav is upstream of the toilet.
Two questions: Is it worth the extra effort to bring the shower around the horn to get upstream of the toilet? What would be the best place to tie in the shower vent?
Any other thoughts?

I like putting the shower or bath up stream of the toilet if possible. Just feel it provides good wash out for what goes down the toilet.
