I know that you can wire your own house. Can you plumb your own house? I’m referring to new construction. Thanks Brent

In Arkansas, the answer is yes. I have no idea what is required in your area.
*Yes in Oklahoma also , as long as its your residence . And it has to pass inspection .
*Same in my area (CT) as long as it is your own residence. If you do plow ahead, a bit of advice...Buy contractor packs of copper fittings. Even though your inspector will know you did the work, the work looks a bit amateurish if each and every fitting has its own individual Home Depot price tag on it. Usually a burned price tag after sweating the joint. Same goes for electrical.I know a few inspectors (both building inspectors and pre-purchase home inspectors) and appraisers that often take a second and even third look at work when they see the "red flag" price tags.Call your official to see if you can do the work. Also ask what code is used in your jurisdiction and any specifics he's looking for in your work. Most officials have code book order forms if you need to go that route.
