I just tried this caulking gun from Chicago Pneumatic. Man, what a wrist saver. I wish they had these twenty years ago. Maybe they did and I just didn’t know it.
Just wondering if anybody else has tried them?

I actually have a few questions for you cuz I've been eyeballin' those for awhile myself. Did you get the larger one for subfloor adhesive, or caulking size? How does it perform in cold weather? I'm very curious but also very skeptical. Help me out here>
*This one worked with both big and small tubes. It had interchangable tubes. We did have to keep the caulking warm since it was 10 below 0 in the morning. We ended up building a hot box out of 2" blueboard and an electric heater. I did see something once in FHB were a guy used hand warmer packets and some pipe insulation, that would probably have worked also. All in all it was worth the $20.Dave
*we bought the english one that actually has a name but i can't remember it.. about $125..takes the big tubes only... we've used it in 20 deg weather.. with no pre-warming.. we've used const. framing adhesive and polyurethane adhesive..great control... the long length extends your reach so it's easier to glue for the next 4' sheet..my only regret is not buying one years ago...
*Mike, do you happen to remember where you got yours? I'm framing in Whitinsville, MA...pretty close to RI if you happen to remember the store.
*.. i'm pretty sure i got it at Quaker Lane Tool, NK about 14 months ago... i could look it up tomorrow
