I am a tile contractor nad would like some advice on your sucesses attaching James Hardie products(Hardie Backer, Hardie Plank, etc.) with a air roofing or siding nailer. I am interested in purchasing a nailer soon. I currently have several Senco framing and trim nailers, but am open to new products. Thanks Tripp

Tripp,
I've used coil roofing nailers with great success. I'm not a fan of Bostich, but they have a coil nailer that shoots framing nails as well as roofing nails. At least it's versatile.

*Tripp, we just finished a Hardi-plank siding project and our Senco roofing nailers worked great!

Tripp. I just purchased a senco sn65 framing nailer to do the hardie- plank on my new home. Too early to tell for sure, cause I'm still framing. It has a depth adjustment that will leave the nail proud, or flush or ???? Overall it's a nice tool.
Maze nails makes Hardie approved hot dipped galvies in sticks for just about every gun out there too. I'll keep you posted as it goes.
