Does anyone have experience using extruded polystyrene foam molding in outdoor applications? I want to trim out a patio cover with some foam molding from Creative Crown Foam Crown Molding of Dallas. It will be exposed to both sunlight and rain/snow. Thanks.

MY guess, and it's only a guess, is that just like Styrofoam, such molding would be degraded by sunlight. Maybe you could paint it with a varnish that has UV inhibitors in it.
