Our house is two years old and we have oak hardwood floors in the kitchen and entranceway. Although they are still in nice shape, they certainly need to be refreshed. I have not used any wax on the floors. I know if I do, I will not be able to use polyurethane without stripping the floors. Should I move to oil or wax or stick with the polyurethane? I wouldn’t mind needing to buff the floors every six months or so if they would look good.
