I have a remodel project that will require me to install hardwood flooring over an existing hardwood floor in some areas. I was considering buying the manual Porter Nailer 403 Kit that will face nail and angle nail. Since some of the areas has existing oak hardwood floor, I believe that I’ll step up to air powered. I have used the manual Porta Nailer and the Bostich MIIIFN. I would like to have the added ability to face nail and angle nail in one tool so I’ve been looking at the Porta Nailer Hammerhead 2 Nailer. I am looking for some feed back on the Porta Nailer Pneumatic with the angle and face shoes opposed to the Bostich MIIIFN.

Holy smokes RU,
You've been hanging around here since '99!
Here's an honorary bump of your post back into the recent discussion listing.
Cheers
I have the Porter Cable pneumatic angle-only nailer, and it works well. Up close to the wall I can use short swings and still sink the nails. A little pricey, but there's always a market for it on ebay. It uses L-head nails, which HD stocks but Lowes does not. I thiunk the manual Porta-Nailer takes T-head nails.
I'm sorry, I thought you wanted it done the right way.
