My Dear Son had one for a few weeks. It was pretty dang nice, but he neglected to tie it down properly and it made like Dorothy's house & was never seen again.

Bought one at Costco a couple of years ago for $170. Probably more for occasional use than all-the-time. I see tatered remains of what appear to be the same cover (constant exposure) around town, although the structure part of ours flew about 40 yards across our back yard and only needed a couple of turnbuckles ;)
If I were looking for semi-permanent, something like this, maybe?

Everything will be okay in the end. If it's not okay, it's not the end.
my neighbor had one but the winds are so strong here he could not keep it up, He tryed everything but the frames started bending, If you have no wind i think it might be OK
If you are talking about those structures with a fabriuc cover and metal tubing frame, it makes a big difference what thickness the tubing is and the spacing layout between frames - and how tight you draw the fabric. I have one with the fabric snug as a marine bed sheet that does fine in the wind. A neighbor had his loosely draped and it is in pieces now. But I thoiught this guy was talking about a portable garage. These structures are not meant to be portable. They have to be tied down one way or another. Some people call them temporary - with good reason of course, but our local ordinances treat them like any other structure. You need a permit and it has to be placed in a certain given location - not portable. move it and you need a moving permit. Cannot be placed within X feet of a road, Y feet of a lot line, or Z feet of the shore
