I’m looking for a 50-80k, portable heater for a worksite. I’ve tried kerosene and propane heaters and found them too stinky. Can anyone recommend an electric heater or other option? I saw an ad in FHB for fostoria “heatwave” heaters. Has anyone tried them?

the electric ones are pretty dinky.. unless you get into the big radiant ones.. we switched to propane.. no complaints about the smell... the new styles burn very hot.. no smoke or soot

Thank you for your input. I suppose I'll try one of the radiant propane heaters. Ptimer.
We rented a big propane (100K BTU) unit a few years ago. Can't recall the brand, but it was a radiant type on a stand that put the burner about 7 foot high. I t was connected by hose to a large propane bottle. Worked like a charm. Two of them under a 12 foot tall canopy and a plastic curtin made for comfortable working conditions down to 20gees F many days.
