Advice On Portable Table Saws Re Rigid
I have limited space and have decided that only a portable table saw will fit the available space I have, I am considering the Rigid 10″ portable.
Any comments appreciated.

Did you check out the saw review? I believe if you go back about three screens to the FH homepage, under tools on the left they've posted that article from the magazine. That covers all the little saws. And by the way, AJ, what are you doing home so early?
*Sorry AJ don't agree, bought mine after Gary Katz's review for FHB. Runs smooth and true all day and it has a great fence.
*Looks like a fine saw. I like my jobsite saw more portable though. It might be a nice shop saw for those that don't buy a shop Delta.but, near the Makita blue stream,aj
*The tool guy at HD just had to show me the saw (the had it set up for some live demonstration). The saw was pretty impressive, but the stand they were selling for it was way cool, big wheels and quick set-up and folding. If I buy one it'll be as much for the stand as the saw.
*The Ridgid stand is great, and it helps with the bulk of the saw. I can roll mine right up to the tailgate of my truck, grab the other side and slide it right in. The saw seems to work alright also, I am on my second one. The first one I bought had a problem with the blade creeping down ever so slightly while I was using it. Mentioned it to the guy at HD and he told me to bring in back. Went out to my truck brought it in and they gave me a new one on the spot - the old one was about a year old. New one seems to work fine.
*My only concern is it looks huge and heavy...I like the smaller and lighter Makitas...near the Makita blue stream,ajI should get paid for all this by now!
