I finally found the problem I had in not being able to post pictures.  (The problem actually was that nothing would happen when you clicked the “attachment” button.)

Andy and many others said they were having trouble with that problem last week.

In my case, it turned out to be the pop-up blocker in the Norton Internet Security package.  XP will also block the pop-up, so you have to deal with both at the same time.

The easiest way to over ride XP is just to hold down the “Control” key when you click the “attachment” button.   As for the Norton problem….just open up the Norton Internet Security on your main menu and disable the “ad blocking” feature.  You can go back and quickly enable it when you are done posting the picture.

I’m sure other programs like Norton have something similar that could be disabled to allow picture posting.
