Could some homebuilders out there give me their preferences for using block versus poured foundations. I’m sure this is a subject that has been discussed back and forth for years but I’m looking to have a new home built soon and would like some opinions. The home would have a full basement. I have very limited background in homebuilding.

Do a search in the Archives on this topic. It's been covered pretty well here. Come back with more questions if you have them.

*Ain't no difference between either one IF done right. It's a matter of local economics and available qualified workers.Gabe
*This is the correct answer.....
