Hello,
I am getting ready to pour a concrete slab. I have one problem though. I have a set of Billco doors that I “must” run the concrete up to. Since the Billco’s are metal and I don’t really want put the concrete right up against the metal, I would like to have some ideas from anyone on how to approach this? I thought of using AZEK (PVC Facia 1X) against the Billco’s and then filling any gap with SiccaFlex caulking. Any thoughts greatly appreciated!!!!
Thanks in advance,
Fred

Make sure the metal is properly painted first. Then use regular expansion joint board.
There will always be moisture from the ground against the metal if any part of it is below ground or below the slab, so eventually it will rust that way.
