I did some googling looking for that unit, but I could not find it. Where did you get it, and what model number is it?
I have a few of these type things that I keep handy fo use car adapters on 120v: http://eshop.macsales.com/item/Newer%20Technology/PWR120V12/
you can use any power strip then.
