For safety reasons, I keep this style of jokes to a minimum. I do like practical jokes, but not on the job. Playing jokes of this kind usually escalates into an all out funfest... until someone gets hurt. Besides, you're pissing away the profit.
*kearney, Too many to list here. But we really like this one on commercial projects. When someone just won't stop 'observing' us on one of those storefront aquarium jobs where your choice seems to be no natural light (and pretty girls walking by) or working in a fishbowl. We send a rookie out front with a masons line and have him tell the "viewer" that he needs to measure the building and it would be a big help if he could hold the end of this line for a minute....then he walks around the corner ties it to a parking meter and slips in thru the backdoor. Always good for a laugh. BTW the record is 27 minutes.
