out here in the west I don’t see it very often, but then I haven’t done much residential single family for quite a while. Where can a guy make a big mistake? How to avoid them? This is horizontal 8″bevel, with corner boards, and butted into casement over aluminum windows, with fake shutters.
What do you charge, compared to a sider who is on ladder or pump jacks? Since this addition is going up at the start of the rainy season, and getting it dried in is very important, I am wondering how much time I should allow beyond normal wall framing as well.
Most important of all, does the finish product compare with siding installed after walls are up?
