Why did you use PT wood if you thought there might be a problem? By the way, PT is fine.
the original plan was to form it then leave it as concrete...then my wife decided she liked the look of decking on it...then stained...lol...thanks anyway for your help guys....what about putting decking on top of a pad...any problems wth rot there??i
pt, nope.
You're going to want to create a way for that pad to drain or the decking will warp, cup, and eventually rot. PT sleepers run parallel with the pitch of the slab is SOP. Use PL premium and a few tapcons to secure them to the slab. Then install your decking on the sleepers. You can run a band of PVC trim or ripped decking around the edge to hide the sleepers... but leave a gap for the pad to drain out.View Image
I used pressure treated to form up my patio pad into a sort of checkered design about 12 years ago. No problem with rotting so far.

If you place Pressure Treated lumber on the concrete, the sun, the heat, and weather will surely age your decking... Why not do some acid staining in the form that looks like decking boards?
It would drain well and easily swept or washed with a garden hose. It should be cheaper, too.

Just say, "yes dear, what ever you want"
The rest is inconsequential.
