Tomboy Tools Announces the Debut of the World’s First Pink Impact Drill

Available online at www.tomboytools.com, Tomboy Tools’ pink impact drill comes with the new lithium ion battery technology making the battery 2/3 lighter than standard drills. The impact drill is also gear driven so when the resistance kicks in, so do the gears, making the tool work and not your muscles!
The new pink impact drill is one of Tomboy Tools’ most exciting pink products, according to Janet Rickstrew, Tomboy Tools’ CEO and co-founder.
“We worked very hard to find the right size drill with features that make sense for women,” said Rickstrew. “Do-it-yourselfer ladies will love this drill and perhaps the pink color will encourage their husbands to leave it alone.”
Other Pink Tools available from Tomboy Tools include:
Pink Hammer $14.95 — The “Pink for a Purpose” hammer was specially designed to raise funds for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation to fund breast cancer research. The pink hammers raise $3 from every sale for Komen for the Cure.
Pink Traveler $69.95 — This attractive, high quality tool kit comes with pliers, utility knife, multi-bit ratchet screwdriver, 16-foot tape measure, torpedo level, hacksaw, latex gloves and safety glasses in a wide mouth bag. It also includes the special edition 13 oz “Pink for a Purpose” hammer.
Tool Bouquet $49.95 — The Tomboy Tools’ Bouquet comes in a lovely tool apron, wrapped in pink ribbon, and includes a set of pink gloves and, for the first time in Tomboy’s existence, a set of all-pink tools. The Bouquet includes a multi-ratcheting screwdriver, standard pliers, torpedo level, and the special edition “Pink for a Purpose” hammer.

Boy.
DW says I can't even TOUCH this one.
Forrest - sitting it out
I'd go there but would be banned for life. Don't think I won't to go there. Think the best thing to do is ignore this one and let it fade into the sunset on its own.
Yep.

Gee Forrest,
Maybe we should chip in and get this for you, so you start out with a bang in your new job?

Though you're on your own to fend off any Spinal Tap jokes about "I'd like to sink her with my pink torpedo" (level, that is)

Well isnt that cute, they made the women a pink impact gun and only 8 volts so that they can handle it, thats sweet!
Looks like a bunch of HF stuff in pink, at least some of it's for a good cause. My wife just did the Avon Breast Cancer Walk in Chicago last weekend. They raised about $9M.
If you had those, you would never worry about your tools getting stolen on the job.

Maybe I should paint all my tools pink. :D--------------------------------------------------------

So are you gonna pick up one of those sets as a door prize for Peach Fest?
I am sure it would be a hit.
Be fun (depending of course on who won it).
On a more serious note .... I have a specialty tool that costs about $30. After I lost / misplaced / had stolen the third one, I painted the new one pink. I still have it, and I can find it when I need it. $30 may not sound like much, but it adds up .... Here you'll see plenty of construction types wearing pink shirts next week. That is because the rodeo will be in town - and they sell "Real Cowboys Wear Pink" T-Shirts as a fund raiser for the Breast Cancer folks.
If you're married, the lady will appreciate the gesture.
If you're not married, the ladies will appreciate your concern. Can't lose either way! Later additions / edits: I think Hitachi has their stuff available in 'raspberry' ... which is pretty close to 'pink.' Just looked at the tool set. Pink is $10 more than blue ... but they donate $7 .... nice hustle!!!
