So, I got asked how I would make this mobile home more exciting, from a curb-side perspective. I have to admit that it does look pretty ugly. Anyway, any of you fellas ever tackled something like this? Shutters? Paint? Porch? Nicer parking pad? New plantings? I don’t really have a clue – I just do the grunt work, if you know what I mean.
Thanks, guys.
Cheers!

low (up to 18") plantings along the skirting, move the sidewalk to allow for said planting up close to the skirt.
Something tall near the front porch.
Make front porch diff, maybe steps down both sides instead of just one.
A tree back by the hose reel to break the view of the neighbor. Tall shrub at the front centered between the windows
maybe, maybe a small patio to the left of the door to give a reason for the extra steps going that way. (looks like there might've been something there before)
shutters would do nicely.
Thanks, guys.Yep, getting rid of the blue paint - for sure!Plantings! Go wild, I say.Think I'd added a nice deck, too.It just needs some "oomph" as it looks so blah.Cheers!

If you go with a deck, use the plantings around it as well. I think a patio with plantings and furniture wold do more to ease the flow from ground level to structure than a deck though..
send us pics when you're done.
LOL
Don't know about the house! But I want to see the view behind the house at the mountains! Looks like a great homestead site!

Sweet! What an improvement. I like the pergola? over the steps.
Nicely done. Makes quite a difference!Where in BC is this? Near Kelowna?'Man who say it cannot be done should not interrupt man doing it' ~ Chinese proverb
Yes, Roman. Westbank, actually. But for all intents, it's Kelowna.Cheers

Ah, lucky you. That's a beautiful part of the world! We've been up a couple of times for Ironman in Penticton and the scenery is just breathtaking. The race is a little breathtaking, too :)Best,

Looks Great!.I'm not afraid of work - I can walk right up to it and take a nap
Some nice picket fence? Flower planters? Grass?
Landscaping and getting rid of the blue will make heaps of difference. I think a small deck and some plantings around it (as suggested) will give this thing more appeal. The plain white siding sure doesn't look very inspiring, does it?Cheers!

I don't think the siding is bad at all. It needs something added though. Shutters might help.
I think if you change those two light fixtures on either side of the front.....side.....ok, front door to more of an arts and crafts look it will change the whole charactor of the house.

Considering your location maybe you would better utilize a 3 season porch vs. a deck. just a thought.
I also liked the idea of all the planting that sounds great.
Are you prepping it to sell.....if so just watch what you do and where you spend your money as the plantings won't add appraised value to your house but the curb appeal will get you noticed and maybe put you ahead of the competition.
Your property has lots of potential.
